In Financial News, The First Water Index
Indices have grown by leaps and bounds in the financial world over the last few years. No longer is it just the Dow 30, the S&P 500, and the Russell 2000. Now you have indices for coal, solar energy, gold, and just about any other sector or commodity that you can think of. In the video below, Peter Williams of IBM and Scott Rickards of Waterfund talk about the first water index - WCI or Water Cost Index.
It has often been said that water is more precious than gold. We'll just have to see if the market agrees.
