We were pr...A word on knife rights here in Georgia. We were prevented by law from carrying any blade over 5 inches. With the support of GeorgiaCarry.org, in 2008 a very simple change was made to a pending law. The first part said that any knife over 5 inches was considered a weapon. (Another part also defined handguns as weapons.) The second part changed the name of the Georgia Pistol Carry License to the Georgia Weapons Carry License. And now, carry of knives is legal for GWCL holders.<br /><br />Considering that knives are arms, and the 2nd Amendment is about the right to keep and bear arms, this should be a no-brainer.
