I know it is 2012 but sometimes you hear stuff on the news that makes you think you are in 1789 France with King Louis XVI, his queen Marie Antoinette, and the rest of the Royal Court at Versailles.
I know it is tradition to pay off big donors with cushy diplomatic posts but isn't appointing
Anna Wintour ambassador to anything a bit much?
As long as it's England or France, it's hardly unheard of and not considered to be that abusive.
ReplyDelete@hga: True. I'd suggest making Wintour the new ambassador to Libya. It would infuriate the Islamofascists and might ensure better embassy security in that country.
