2012 SHOT Show - Downrange TV, First Day Report

Michael Bane has posted a video on his impressions of the first day of the 2012 SHOT Show. He calls it the "Year of the .22LR" with everything from a M-1 Carbine by Chiappa to the Ruger SR22 to a .22LR version of the Sturmgewehr 44.

You can see it here.

  1. The good old .22 is flexing its tiny arms. Good for it.

  2. @SGB: I agree. One of my purchases last year was a pre-68 Remington 512 bolt action. My parents had one and I foolishly sold it back in the 1980s. It joins the Ruger 10/22 and two Russian bolt actions in my .22LR arsenal.
