I stumbled across this really interesting video of a reunion of both Union and Confederate veterans from the Battle of Gettysburg. The reunion was the 75th reunion in 1938. The most touching part is when they were going to re-enact Pickett's Charge and the Union vets ended up surging towards the Conferates and hugging them.
With the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor just past, it is a reminder of the sacrifices that all veterans have made for this country over the years.

ReplyDelete... and the last thing I really want to hear half way through viewing this video is that idiot black female historian telling me 'the true meaning of the civil war will never be realized until the work is finished'.
ReplyDeleteFor the past 50 years we have given the black community, at the expense of white America, everything it could possibly need to bring themselves up to the economic and societal level of whites in the country.
What has that gotten us? A black subculture in the United States that will is racist, refuses to fully integrate into society of the whole, and has become the single most criminal ethnic and racial group in history.
The reason you and I carry is not because of the 68% of the country that is white; it is because 13% of our peoples are black and cause the vast majority of the violent crime.
Wake up America. Maybe it's time for another civil war.

ReplyDeleteAnd over the past 40 years our war on drugs has destroyed the black community. We are reaping what we sowed.
